Who are we?
We are not a mortgage lender and we are not a mortgage broker.
We are attorneys who are experienced in handling mortgage loans and we know how to save you money.
Our only interest is to help save you money.
Here is how we work:
Find what you believe to be the best deal to refinance your mortgage.
Get the "deal" in writing; including all of the closing costs, and interest rate.
Any legitimate lender or mortgage broker should give you a list of exactly what will be paid out of the mortgage proceeds (other than the exact amount of your mortgage payoff and any credit cards you are paying off). You should have this list before the closing is scheduled.
If they want your business, you will get the list. The list should include not only all of the expenses that you are paying in order to get the loan, but you have a right to know how much money the mortgage broker is going to earn as a result of your "deal". Did you know that mortgage lenders pay mortgage brokers for getting your business? It's called a "broker fee" or a "yield spread premium".
Here's how we get paid:
If you fax us a copy of your "deal" and we think it is reasonable, we will tell you so, and there will be no charge for our service.
If we think we can help you do better and you want to use our services, then you will pay us a third of what we save you. So, if we end up saving you nothing, you pay us "nothing. It's as simple as that! You have absolutely nothing to lose. There are no out of pocket expenses; there are no "up front" fees. You would pay us only after you close the loan.
You need to keep in mind:
Many mortgage brokers do not know right away which lender has the right loan program for you. So, it is not unusual for the mortgage broker not to know what the closing fees are until a lender has been selected. But you should not allow yourself to be "rushed" into a closing; do not let the threat of a "rate lock" issue to be the deciding factor. At least not until you have spoken with us.

Achievements
Our achievements vary since we provide all kinds of legal services. A few recent achievements involve successfully convincing a mortgage lender that had foreclosed on our client's home to return the house to our client at no expense to our client. We also recently assisted a client in obtaining the exclusive rights to certain products for distribution in the Middle East, which resulted in Attorney Oriel spending a week in Egypt, meeting with officials at the US Embassy and with officials of the Egyptian government. Our client is now negotiating with our assistance to provide their products in other Middle East countries. We also recently successfully took over a collections case involving over $50,000 that another attorney had been unable to resolve, and within a matter of a few weeks, the matter was resolved to our client's atisfaction.
