Representation of buyers and sellers for both residential and commercial real estate, including the negotiation and preparation of Purchase and Sale Agreements; handling the closing for the mortgage lender, and the issuance of title insurance.

Real estate title searches in every County in Massachusetts. Our office provides title search services for many national companies.
In addition, Attorney Oriel has handled all kinds of civil matters in the District Court, Superior Court, and Probate and Family Court.
Attorney Oriel has practiced before the Federal District Court in Boston, as well as the First Circuit Court of Appeals.
Recently, Attorney Oriel was successful in persuading a mortgage lender who had foreclosed on his client's home to return the house to his client without any consideration, including the cancellation of the mortgage balance.

Prior to joining The Law Office of Chesley Oriel in 2006, Dan closed more than 3,000 mortgage loans.
Currently, his duties include ordering and supervising all items necessary for a real estate closing. Dan is the office's liaison between lenders, borrowers, sellers, and real estate agents. He also works with national vendors who use the services of Oriel & Associates for title work. His post closing duties include preparing and issuing title insurance policies.
